
C003PSHY99 Polyurethane Waterproof Coating
ACEPASTE solvent-free odorless single component polyurethane waterproof coating is a reactive moisture cured polymer waterproof coating mainly based on isocyanates and polyether polyols.
By reacting the - NCO end groups in polyurethane prepolymers with moisture in the air, a tough, highly elastic, soft, and seamless waterproof coating is formed on the surface of the substrate.
Auxiliary materials
When the substrate is poor, polyurethane specific single component primer can be used: the primer is a solvent-free system with strong adhesion to the substrate, which can effectively seal the pores of the substrate, especially suitable for loose and porous substrates.

Construction process
1、 Construction preparation
Surface treatment of substrate
-Ensure that the surface of the substrate (such as concrete, cement mortar surface) is flat, solid, and free of defects such as looseness, hollowing, sanding, and cracks. If there are cracks, they need to be filled and leveled with repair materials first.
-Remove dust, oil stains, accumulated water and other debris from the surface of the substrate, and keep it dry (recommended moisture content ≤ 8%).
-The internal and external corners need to be made into rounded corners (with a radius of about 50mm) or obtuse corners, and the nodes such as the pipe root and floor drain need to be reinforced.
Inspection of waterproof coating
-Check if the single component polyurethane waterproof coating is within its shelf life; Due to the possibility of precipitation during long-term storage of waterproof coatings, they can be stirred before use to evenly distribute the sediment (without adding water or other diluents). After stirring, the product performance will not be affected.
2、 Construction steps
Apply the first coat of waterproof coating
-Apply evenly with a brush or roller onto the prepared substrate, with a thickness controlled between 0.8-1mm, ensuring no missed brushing or accumulation.
-Wait for the first coat of waterproof coating to dry (usually 2-4 hours, depending on the ambient temperature and humidity, subject to non stick to hands).
Apply a second coat of waterproof coating
-The direction of the second coating is perpendicular to the first coating (cross coating) to ensure even coverage of the coating, and the thickness is also controlled within 0.8-1mm.
If you need to increase the waterproof thickness, you can apply the third coat after the second coat is dry. The method is the same as above, and the total thickness is recommended to be ≥ 1.5mm. The general construction thickness requirement is 2mm (according to the design requirements).
3. Maintenance and acceptance
After the final coating is completed, it should be naturally cured for more than 72 hours (the curing time should be extended when the temperature is below 10 ℃), and during this period, avoid exposure to rain, water or external damage.
After curing, check whether the coating is flat, without bubbles or cracks. Only after passing the inspection can subsequent construction (such as backfilling, tiling, etc.) be carried out.

Construction environment
-The temperature should be between 5 ℃ and 35 ℃, and construction should be avoided on rainy days, windy days, or when the substrate surface is damp.
Storage
-Sealed storage in a cool and dry place, away from sources of fire and heat, avoid direct sunlight, and use within the shelf life.
Other
-Before the coating is cured, pedestrians and vehicles are prohibited from crushing it to avoid sharp objects scratching the coating.
-If it needs to be used in combination with other materials (such as rolls, primers), compatibility needs to be confirmed and a small-scale test needs to be conducted first.
By following the above method of construction, the waterproof effect of the polyurethane waterproof coating can be fully utilized, effectively resisting water infiltration.
