Construction Process

1、 Construction preparation

Surface treatment of substrate

-Ensure that the surface of the substrate (such as concrete, cement mortar surface) is flat, solid, and free of defects such as looseness, hollowing, sanding, and cracks.

-Remove dust, oil stains, accumulated water and other debris from the surface of the substrate, and keep it dry (recommended moisture content ≤ 8%).

Inspection

-Check if the single component polyurethane sealant is within its shelf life;

-To a sausage package,please check whether both ends become harden because of long term storage, if harden, cut off the harden part of one end, then apply the sealant with tool.

2、 Construction steps

Open the sealant with tool and cut the nozzle to applicable size.

Put the sealant into caulking gun then apply the sealant to the joint or the surface of substrate for bonding and sealing.

Tack free time and curing speed are influenced by environment temperature and humidity.

Storage

This product sealed storage, recommended storage temperature of 5~25℃ cool dry place; The storage period is 9 months.

Precautions

Construction environment

-The temperature should be between 5 ℃ and 35 ℃, and construction should be avoided on rainy days, windy days, or when the substrate surface is damp.

-During construction, it is necessary to wear protective masks and gloves, stay away from sources of fire, and work in a well ventilated area.

Storage

-Sealed storage in a cool and dry place, away from sources of fire and heat, avoid direct sunlight, and use within the shelf life.

Other

-If it needs to be used in combination with other materials, compatibility needs to be confirmed and a small-scale test needs to be conducted first.
