C002PS22 Expansion Joint Polyurethane Sealant

Product description

C002PS22 is a one-component, paste, nonpriming, high modulus polyurethane sealant designed for vertical or sloping expansion joints of construction and building. Use where flexibility as well as abrasion and puncture resistance are required. Withstands chemical attack and has a long performance life.

Construction process

Pre-Treatment

Cleaning the substrate surface: The substrate surface must be firm and free of loose materials; the substrate surface must be dry, and construction on a wet substrate surface is prohibited; the substrate surface must be clean, such as: free of dust, grease, asphalt, tar, paint, wax, rust, impermeable agent, curing agent, isolation agent and film, etc. Surface cleaning can be handled by scraping, cutting, grinding, sweeping, washing, wiping, blowing, etc.

Construction: Load the caulking glue into the caulking equipment, and insert the glue. Temperature and humidity have a great influence on curing of sealant. It is recommended that the temperature is 5~35℃ and the humidity is 50~70%RH.

Because the construction joint will expand and contract with temperature changes, Recommended expansion joint dimensions: width 1-2cm, depth 1-1.5cm.


Packing specifications

Foil sausage packaging：600ml/ sausage, 20 sausages/box.

Cartridge packing: 310ml/cartridge; 20 cartridge/box.


Storage and transportation

Shelf life: 9 months in unopened packaging in a cool and dry storage place at temperatures between +8℃ to + 28℃


Precautions

Unused products should be immediately sealed and stored to prevent moisture absorption.

Keep away from children.

It is recommended to be used in a well-ventilated place.

In case of contact with eyes and skins, rinse with plenty of water first, and seek medical advice immediately if necessary.
